ঈশ্বর, রাষ্ট্র ও সমাজের প্রতি আমাদের কর্তব্য আছে। ঈশ্বর আমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে এই সুন্দর পৃথিবীতে প্রেরণ করেছেন। সমাজে আমাদেরকে যে সেবা প্রদান করে তার জন্য আমরা সমাজের কাছে কণী আমাদের সমাজ একটা মেশিনের মত যার অংশ হচ্ছি আমরা। আমাদের প্রত্যেককে নিজেদের ভূমিকা পালন করতে হবে, অন্যথায় সমাজের উন্নতি হবে না।
ষত্ব বিধানের পাঁচটি নিয়ম লিখুন
১. অ, আ, ভিন্ন অন্য কোনো স্বরধ্বনি এবং ক ও র এর পরে ‘ষ’ প্রত্যয়ের ‘স’ থাকলে তা মূর্ধন্য ‘ষ’ হয়। যেমন- ভবিষ্যৎ, মুমূর্ষু, বিষয়, বিষ, সুষমা ইত্যাদি।
২. ট ও ঠ এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত হলে দন্ত-‘স’ না হয়ে মূর্ধন্য-ষ হয়। যেমন- কষ্ট, কাষ্ঠ, স্পষ্ট ইত্যাদি।
৩. ঋ-কার ও র-এর পর মূর্ধন্য ‘ষ’ হয়। যেমন- সৃষ্টি, বৃষ, ঋষি, কৃষক, বর্ষা, বৃষ্টি, দৃষ্টি ইত্যাদি।
৪. সমাসবদ্ধ হয়ে দুটি পদ একপদে পরিণত হলে এবং প্রথম পদের শেষে ই, উ, ঋ থাকলে মূর্ধন্য-ষ এ পরিণত হয়। যেমন- যুধিষ্ঠির, গোষ্ঠী, ভ্রাতুস্পুত্র ইত্যাদি।
৫. ই-কারান্ত এবং উ-কারান্ত উপসর্গের পর কতকগুলো ধাতুতে মূর্ধন্য-ষ হয়। যেমন- অনুষ্ঠান, অভিষেক, প্রতিষেধক ইত্যাদি।
