Steel or concrete is used to make a metro rail system. The government of Bangladesh has started building a metro rail system in Dhaka city. The aim is to save people from traffic jams. This project is a remarkable work of the current government. The construction work is going on, and it will end by 2022. Dhaka is a populated d city, and traffic jams have become unbearable. It was a significant demand of people, and their dream will come true. This metro rail can carry more than 60,000 passengers at a time. The length of the Dhaka metro rail is 20 km, with 16 stations from Uttara to Motijheel. Still, the initial plan is to finish the 10 km long metro rail from Uttara to Agargaon. The metro rail has a significant impact on the economy of Bangladesh because it will save Tk 200 billion every year. Mero rail is an environment- friendly transport system as it is run by electricity. The Dhaka metro rail is a dream project for Dhaka city dwellers. The construction work is hampering their daily lives, but they are happy about this metro rail project. It will save time and money and free them from the hectic traffic jams of Dhaka city. The Dhaka Metro Rail is one of the most important projects in the history of Bangladesh. It will provide convenience to millions of commuters who live in the capital city.
