Thanks for your letter and it was great to hear from you. It has been quite long since we have met and since our winter vacations have just started I have planned a small tour to Faridpur. Next 20th January, I will be leaving Dhaka and will catch up with you in Savar. All my intimate friends will join us to the tour. You Know, Faridpur is a district in south-central Bangladesh under the part of Dhaka Division. It is one of the oldest districts in Bangladesh. The district is located on the banks of the Padma river. The old name of this area was 'Fatehabad'. Faridpur district is a main administrative unit of Dhaka division after Dhaka. This area is well known because this is the birth place of many saints, political persons and some religious people.
Faridpur have some historical sites to cultural attractions and local attractions which must impress a tourist. Such as- Chaudarashi Zamindar Bari at Sadarpur, Faridpur District Court, Kamarkhali Gorai Bridge, Gerda Shaheb Para, one of the famous poet in Bangladesh Jasimuddin's House, Modhukhali Sugar Mill, Baisrashi Babu Bari Palace, Chandrapara Darber Sharif, Hazrat Shah Farid Mosque, Pathrail Shahi Mosque and Dighi, Basudeva Mandir, Bishwa Zaker Monjil, Mathurapur Temple, etc. We will continue with our tour and our first stop will be Kanaipur Jomidar bari. After that, we will journey towards Kobi Joshim Uddin house, Dholarmor, Faridpur Nodi Gobeshona Institute, Chandra para Dorbar sharif, Bishwa Jaker monjil. We will also be visiting the Modhukhali Sugar mill and many more exciting places.
I know you are a huge fan of nature so this fun-filled trip will provide you with a huge dose of the outdoors. You do not have to worry about anything since I have the accommodation, meals and transportation all planned
