The length of the Dhaka metro rail is 20 km, with 16 stations from Uttara to Motijheel. Still, the initial plan is to finish the 10 km long metro rail from Uttara to Agargaon. The metro rail has a significant impact on the economy of Bangladesh because it will save Tk 200 billion every year.
