Amidst the greenery lies the delightful Jahangirnagar Lake, and the red-brick buildings further enhance the charm of the campus. The campus is also known as the capital of culture. Additionally, every winter, the university's lakes are filled with migratory birds, making Jahangirnagar University known as a campus for avian guests. Several magnificent sculptures, built on the basis of Bangladesh's glorious history of the Liberation War and independence, have multiplied the beauty of this university. Among the greenery, these sculptures, made of concrete or bronze, stand tall, depicting the essence of the Liberation War, freedom, and the Language Movement.
