Bangladesh’s Graduation to a Middle Income country : Prospects and Challenges
The Impact of the Language Movement on the Liberation War 1971.
Social Media and Teenage Depression
More than 82 million people around the world are displaced today to escape war, persecution, violence, and human rights violations. This number of displaced people is almost half of the population of Bangladesh. Myanmar is one of the top five sources of displacement worldwide. From there, in 2017, about 1 million Rohingya people came to Bangladesh and took shelter after being forcibly displaced. These refugees want to return to their home countries: but for their safety, dignity, and rights as Myanmar citizens – none of this is possible without a concerted international effort. Until then, Bangladesh is providing them with protection, assistance, and security. As part of this, a separate residence with modern facilities has already been constructed for them at Bhasanchar in Noakhali. Recently, a part of the Rohingyas has been transferred there. Every refugee has a personal history of suffering, deprivation, and suffering. These Rohingya sheltered in Bangladesh are constantly struggling to live with dignity. They are hopeful that one day they will be able to return to their native country, Myanmar.
