∴ The probabilities for being even of the 3^rd and 4^th digits $= 5 \times 5 = 25$

∴ Favourable outcomes $= 676 \times 25 = 16,900$

∴ Required probability $\frac{16900}{67600}$ = 0.250 (answer)
