প্রশ্নে বলা হচ্ছে যে, সালমা 100,000 টাকা থেকে কিছু টাকা দিয়ে একটি টিভি ক্রয় করলেন। বাকি টাকার $\frac{১}{৩}$ অংশ তিনি ৪% হার সরল সুদে ও $\frac{২}{৩}$ অংশ ৬% হার সরল সুদে বিনিয়োগ করলেন। এক বছর পর তিনি মোট বিনিয়োগের উপর ৩২০ টাকা সুদ হিসেবে পেল, টিভিটির ক্রয়মূল্য কত ছিল?

Let, the purchase price of the TV is Tk. x 

and remaining amount of money is Tk. (1,00,000-x)

According to the question

$$\begin{gathered} (1,00,000-x)\times \frac{1}{3}\times \frac{4}{100}+(1,00,000-x)\times \frac{2}{3}\times \frac{6}{100}=320 \\ \Rightarrow \frac{100000-x}{75}+\frac{100000-x}{25}=320 \\ \Rightarrow \frac{\left(100000-x\right)+\left(300000-3x\right)}{75}=320 \\ \Rightarrow \frac{400000-x}{75}=320 \\ \Rightarrow 24,000=4,00000-24,000 \\ \Rightarrow 4x=4,00,000-4x \\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{376000}{4} \\ \therefore x=94,000 \end{gathered}$$

The purchase price of the television is 94,000 Tk. ans.

প্রশ্নে বলা হচ্ছে যে, একটি বাস ধরতে একটি লোক 10 কিমি পথ অতিক্রম করতে হবে। ঐ 10 কিমি দূরত্বের কিছু অংশ থেকে 7 কিমি/ ঘণ্টা বেগে হেঁটে গেল এবং বাকি পথ 12 কিমি/ ঘণ্টা বেগে দৌড়ে গেল। সে যদি মোট দূরত্ব অতিক্রম করতে 1 ঘণ্টা 15 মিনিট সময় নেয় তবে সে কত দূরত্ব পথ হেঁটেছিল? 

We know, 1 hour 15 minutes = 1.25 hours 

Let, time taken by the man to walk is x hours

Time taken by the man to walk is (1.25-x) hours 

So distance covered by walking is 7x km 

and distance covered by walking is 12(1.25-x) km

 As of question, 

$$\begin{gathered} 7x+12(1.25-x)= 10 \\ \Rightarrow 7x+15-12x=10 \\ \Rightarrow 12x-7x=15-10 \\ \Rightarrow 5x=5 \\ \Rightarrow x=1 \end{gathered}$$

He walked 1 hour to catch the bus.

His walking distance is= $7x km=7\times 1=7 km$ (ans) 

বলা হচ্ছে যে, আয়তাকৃতির একটি মাঠের দৈর্ঘ্য গ্রন্থের $1\frac{1}{2}$ গুণ ।  প্রতি বর্গ মিটার জায়গায় ঘাস লাগাতে 1.9 টাকা করে খরচ ধরে ঐ মাঠে ঘাস লাগাতে মোট 10,260 টাকা খরচ হবে। 2.5 টাকা প্রতি মিটার দূরে খরচ হলে ঐ মাঠটিতে বেড়া দিতে মোট কত খরচ হবে?

Let, the width of the rectangular field is x m

The length is 1.5x m

The area of rectangular is $\left(x\times 1.5x\right)=1.5x^2 m^2$

The total cost of covering the field will be $\left(1.5x^2\times 1.9\right)$ Tk.
According to the question, 

$$\begin{gathered} 1.5x^2\times 1.9=10,260 \\ \Rightarrow 2.85x^2=10,260 \\ \Rightarrow x^2=\frac{10260}{2.85} \\ \Rightarrow x^2=3,600 \\ \therefore x=\sqrt{{\left(60\right)}^2}=60 \end{gathered}$$

So, width= 60m, length =$1.5 \times 60=90m$

Perimeter = 2(60+90) = 300m

Total cost $300 \times 2.5= 750$ Tk.

750 Tk. is needed to fence the four sides of the rectangular field. ans.

$$\begin{gathered} \frac{4}{2x+3}+\frac{15}{5x+4}=\frac{35}{7x+6} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{4}{2x+3}+\frac{15}{5x+4}=\frac{21}{7x+6}+\frac{14}{7x+6} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{4}{2x+3}-\frac{14}{7x+6}=\frac{21}{7x+6}-\frac{15}{5x+4} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{28x+24-28x-42}{\left(7x+6\right)\left(2x+3\right)}=\frac{105x+84-105x-90}{\left(5x+4\right)\left(7x+6\right)} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{-18}{2x+3}=\frac{-6}{5x+4} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{3}{2x+3}=\frac{1}{5x+4} \\ \Rightarrow 2x+3=15x+12 \\ \Rightarrow 13x=-9 \\ \therefore x=\frac{-9}{13} \end{gathered}$$ ans.
