30% কম Spend করা মানে 40 টাকার 70% খরচ করেছে মেশিন কেনায়। এখন এই 40 এর 70% = 28 টাকা। আর ভাড়া বাবদ খরচ করেছে 40 টাকা । এই 40 ও 28 যোগ করে যোগফল 100 থেকে বিয়োগ করলেই অবশিষ্ট টাকা পাওয়া যাবে।

He spent 40% of his income on rent = 100 of 40%

$= 100 \times \frac{40}{100} = 40 T k .$

Since he spent 30% less than what he spent on rent

So, he purchased dishwasher = 40 of 70%

$= 40 \times \frac{70}{10} = 28 T k .$

Hence, John has left last month = 100-(40+28) = 32 Tk.
