বাংলাদেশের ক্রীড়াঙ্গনঃ সাফল্য ও সম্ভাবনা

সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে বাংলাদেশ বিভিন্ন খাতের উন্নয়নের পাশাপাশি আরো যে একটি খাতে ঈর্ষান্বিত সাফল্য অর্জন করেছে, সেই খাতটির নাম ক্রীড়াঙ্গন। ক্রীড়াক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ করে ক্রিকেট অঙ্গনে বাংলাদেশ অভূতপূর্ব সাফল্য অর্জন করেছে। বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেটারদের খ্যাতি ও পরিচিতি বিশ্বময় এক আলোড়ন সৃষ্টি করেছে। ভারত, পাকিস্তান, ইংল্যান্ড ও দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার মতো ক্রিকেট পরাশক্তিদের সাথে সিরিজ জয় করে নতুন উচ্চতায় উন্নীত হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট। পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশ নারী ফুটবল দল, অনুর্ধ্ব ১৪/১৬ ফুটবল দল, বধির ক্রিকেট দল, স্পেশাল উইনটার অলিম্পিক টিম, মহিলা ও পুরুষ তীরন্দাজ দল, রোলার স্কেটিং দল, মহিলা ও পুরুষ হ্যান্ডবল দল, সাতারু দল, হকি দল, শ্যুটিং দল, ভারোত্তোলক দল, ভলিবল দল ও জুনিয়র মহিলা ব্যাডমিন্টন দলের খেলোয়ারেরা বিরামহীনভাবে দেশ ও জনগণের জন্য সুনাম বয়ে আনছে।

প্রথমে আসা যাক ক্রিকেটের কথায়। বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট দলকে যে এখন আর বিশ্বের কোন দলের হালকাভাবে নেয়ার সুযোগ নেই, গত কয়েক বছরে তারা তা একটু একটু করে বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে। বাংলদেশ ক্রিকেটের যাত্রাটা ৩০ বছরের। আমাদের স্বাধীনতার চেয়েও অনেক কম বয়সি আমাদের ক্রিকেট। ১৯৮৬ সালের ৩১শে মার্চ পাকিস্তানের বিপক্ষে ম্যাচ দিয়ে আন্তর্জাতিক ওয়ানডে ক্রিকেটে প্রথম মাঠে নেমেছিল বাংলাদেশ। এরপর ২০০০ সালে টেস্ট ক্রিকেটে আমাদের অভিষেক হয়। সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশ এবং ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের ম্যাচ এবং বাংলাদেশ ও জিম্বাবুয়ের ম্যাচ গুলোতে বাংলাদেশের ধারাবহিক জয় এই সাফল্যের অংশীদার। ক্রিকেটে বাংলাদেশ আরো উন্নতি করবে বলে আমাদের প্রত্যাশা।

বাংলাদেশ বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল খেলতে না পারলেও ঘরোয়া মাঠে ফুটবলে বাংলাদেশ অনেক ভালো করছে। বাংলাদেশের মেয়েরা একের পর এক জয় এনে বাংলাদেশের জন্য সুনাম এনে দিচ্ছে। এএফসি অনুর্ধ্ব-১৫ ফুটবল চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে সেমিফাইনালে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। গ্রুপপর্বে পাকিস্তানকে ১৪-০ এবং নেপালকে ৩-০ গোলে হারিয়ে দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেছে কিশোরী ফুটবলাররা। সাফ অনুর্ধ্ব-১৫ নারী ফুটবলের বর্তমান চ্যাম্পিয়ন বাংলাদেশ। দলটি সম্প্রতি হংকংয়ে আমন্ত্রণমূলক হকি কাপেও অপরাজিত চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে। তিনটি আসরে মোট ৯টি ম্যাচ খেলেছিল দলটি। এই ৯টি ম্যাচে তারা প্রতিপক্ষের জালে গোল দিয়েছে ৫৪টি। আর গোল হজম করেছে ২টি।

এভাবে ক্রীড়াক্ষেত্রে প্রতিটি অঙ্গনেই বাংলাদেশের পদচারণা সাফল্যমন্ডিত হয়ে উঠছে।

যাথাবিহতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন পূর্বক বিনীত নিবেদন এই যে, স্বনামধন্য রূপালী ব্যাংক বাংলাদেশের ৬৪টি জেলায় মোট ৫৭০টি শাখা নিয়ে খুব দক্ষতার সাথে ব্যাংকিং কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। মোট ৫৭০ টি শাখার প্রায় ৮৫% শাখা-ই ঢাকা শহরের বাইরে অবস্থিত। বিপুল পরিমাণ গ্রাহক দৈনিক এই ব্যাংকের সাথে লেনদেন করে থাকে। এদের অনেকেই ইংরেজিতে লিখতে ও পড়তে পারে না। এর ফলে প্রতিনিয়ত সম্মানিত এই গ্রাহক সকল বিড়ম্বনার শিকার হচ্ছে। এছাড়া বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে টাকার সংখ্যা লিখা নিয়ে প্রায়ই আমাদের শাখাসহ অন্যান্য শাখায় বাক বিতণ্ডার সৃষ্টি হয় যা কাম্য নয়। কিন্তু আমাদের সফটওয়ারে বাংলায় লেখা ও পড়ার সুবিধা থাকলে আমাদের ব্যাংকিংয়ে একটি নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার উন্মোচিত হত।

অতএব, জনাবের কাছে আকুল আবেদন এই যে উপরিউক্ত বিষয়টি বিবেচনায় রেখে আমাদের ব্যাংকিং সেবায় গ্রাহকদের অধিকার সংরক্ষণের নিমিত্তে বাংলা ভাষার প্রচলন করতে আপনার মর্জি হয়।

Economy of Bangladesh: It Simply Keeps growing

Bangladesh is one of the growing fast economies in the world. Now-a-days, all of its economy indicators including per capital income are rising fast. According to the IMF, Bangladesh's economy is the second fastest growing major economy of 2016, with a rate of 7.1% GDP growth. Now Bangladesh is the 31st largest economy by purchasing power parity and 42nd largest economy in the world in nominal terms. The provisional GDP growth rate for consecutive three years (2016, 2017, 2018) indicates that Bangladesh's economy is expanding in real sense. In recent years, Bangladesh has become one of Asia's most remarkable and unexpected success stories.

Presently, the per capita income of Bangladesh has become $1751 which helps us for being the middle income country leaving the group of least developed countries group. In health and education index: Bangladesh strides a long way making the average life expectancy by above 70 years. Our GDP size increased to Tk. 22.5 trillion ($274.11 billion) in fiscal year 2017-18, rising from Tk. 19.76 trillion in fiscal year 2016-17. According to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, in the fiscal year 2017-18, the contribution of the agriculture sector to the country's GDP was 13.82% and 50% respectively. It also published that the GDP growth was 6.55% in fiscal year 2014-15, 7.11% in 2015-16 and 7.28% in 2016-17.

The overall development of a nation largely depends upon the amount of investment. The more the investment a country receives, the more the development will take place. According to the recent • studies, the investment to GDP ratio increased at 31.23% where 7.97% is public investment and 23.36% is private investment.

HSBC's long-term growth model projections showed that the real GDP growth of Bangladesh would be 7.1% per year up to 2030, the highest among the 75 countries. The country is projected to grow 7.3% from 2018 to 2023, 7.0% from 2023 to 2028 and 7.2% form 2028 to 2033. According to this report, Bangladesh will be a $700 billion economy in 2030 from $300 billion now.

In fine, to write the writing up, it can be said that the economy of Bangladesh is rising fast due to the on going development activities as well as the tireless effort of industrious people

Suitable Title: Agent banking-Banking for all.

NGO's and Micro finance institutions play pivotal role to the enhancement of agent banking. They are trying to link up poor people from the distant area with the financial services securing loan with the lowest interest rate and grant loan without collateral.

Poor people get the best support from the different types of Micro credit institutions operating in this country. There institutions act as guarantor which is the main hindrance for obtaining loans for the poor people. They also help the poor class providing loan with the lowest interest rate.

Collateral is something that we promise to give someone if we can not pay back loan. Besides, it indicates property pledged by a borrower to protect the interest of the lender.

Agent Banking in Bangladesh is evolving in quick pace. Banks including public and private are getting license for agent banking. The number of agent banks account has become double in 2017 comparing to the previous year.

শেরে-বাংলা এ.কে ফজলুল হক বাংলায়, সর্বভারতীয় রাজনীতিতে এবং সামাজিক পরিবর্তনের জন্য আন্দোলনের। ইতিহাসে একজন কিংবদন্তি ব্যক্তি। জনজীবনের অন্যান্য নেতাদের মতো তারও কিছু অতীত কাজ ও কর্ম নিয়ে কিছু শোচন ছিল। কিন্তু এই ক্ষীণ সময়ের জন্যে সেই সব দোষ ত্রুটির অনুসন্ধান করাটা প্রায় অসম্ভব। তিনি মর্যাদা ও সম্মানের সাথে জীবন-যাপন করতেন। তবে তার চারপাশে এমন কিছু ঘটনা ঘটতো যা সর্বদা আনন্দদায়ক ছিল না। মাঝে মাঝে তার লক্ষ্য। ও উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে ভুলবুঝাবুঝির সৃষ্টি হতো এবং এজন্য তিনি তিক্ত সমালোচনার সম্মুখীন হতেন। বিখ্যাত বিজ্ঞানী পি.সি রায় তাকে হিন্দু-মুসলমান ঐক্যের প্রতীক হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করেছেন যার উপর বাঙালি জাতির ভবিষ্যৎ নির্ভর করতো। শেরে বাংলার এক সময়কার শিক্ষক পি.সি রায় বলতেন যে তিনি কংগ্রেসের ভারতীয় জাতীয়তাবাদ বুঝতে পারেন নি। তিনি একমাত্র বাঙালি জাতীয়তাবাদ বুঝতেন এবং তিনি বিশ্বাস করতেন যে এই জাতীয়তাবাদ কেবলমাত্র ফজলুল হক-ই প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে পারবেন।
