Now, after 24 days, remaining time = 120-24= 96 days

& After part work done, remaining task= $(1 - \frac{1}{8}) = \frac{7}{8}$ Part

Now, 24 days are needed to do $\frac{1}{8}$ of the work by 160 workers

1 day is needed to do of the work by $160 \times 24$ workers

1 day is needed to do 1 of the work by $\frac{160 \times 24 \times 8}{1}$ workers

96 days are needed do $\frac{7}{8}$ of the work by $\frac{160 \times 24 \times 8 \times 7}{1 \times 96 \times 8} = 280$ workers

Additional workers are needed = $280 - 160 = 120$
