A spreadsheet program is a software tool for entering, calculating, maintaining and analyzing sets of numbers. Spreadsheet have a wide range of uses from family budgets to corporate earnings statements. We can set up a spreadsheet to show information in different ways, such as traditional row-and-column format or a slick report format with headings and charts. Microsoft Excel (MS Excel) is one of the most commonly used spreadsheet applications. Like a word processor spreadsheet provide a document area, which is where we can view the documents. In a spreadsheet program, our work with a document called a worksheets in a workbook or notebook. Worksheets can be named, and a worksheet can contain as many individual worksheets as our system's resource will allow. A typical spreadsheet interface provides a menu bar, toolbars, scroll bars and a status bar. Spreadsheet programs also display a special formula bar, where we can create or edit data and formulas in the worksheet.
