ত্রিভুজ গঠনের প্রথম শর্ত হল এর যে কোন দুই বাহুর সমষ্টি তৃতীয় বহু অপেক্ষা বৃহত্তর হবে. কিন্তু এখানে প্রথম ২ বাহু যদি  ১ এবং ২ হয় তাদের  যোগফল হবে ৩ যা ৩য় বাহু এর সমান তাই এক্ষেত্রে ত্রিভুজ গঠন সম্ভব নয়.
