সামান্তরিকের পরস্পর বিপরীত কোনগুলো সমান ও চার কোনের সমষ্টি 360 ডিগ্রি। 

 সুতারাং একটি কোন 60 ডিগ্রি হলে তার বিপরীত কোন ও 60 ডিগ্রি হবে। 

যেহেতু সামান্তরিকের চার কোণের সমষ্টি 360ডিগ্রি । সুতারাং বাকি দুই কোণের সমষ্টি (360 - 2×60) = 240 ডিগ্রি। 

অতএব বাকি দুই কোণের প্রত্যেকটির মান হবে=(240/2=120 ‍ডিগ্রি)।
