one side of Rectangular is 100 m

The other side of Rectangular is 200 m

So, Present Area is = 100X200=20000 m²

if increase 20% of both side of rectangular.

Then, one side of Rectangular is= 100 + $\frac{100 \times 20}{100}$ = 120 m

Other side of Rectangular is = 200 + $\frac{200 \times 20}{100}$ = 240 m

After increasing the Rectangular area is = 120× 240 = 28800 m²

increasing the Rectangular area is = 28800 - 20000 = 8800 m²

So, % of increasing area is = $\frac{8800 \times 100}{20000}$ = 44%

Ans: 44%.
