Here, Train Long is= 500m.

Train Speed is =63*10003600=17.5 m/sec.

Man Velocity is=3*10003600=0.83 m/sec

we know, t=sv

so,Time required for Train pass 500m is=50017.5=28.57 Sec

28.57 Sec Man pass the distance is= 0.83 X 28.57= 23.81 m

Time Required for Train to pass 23.81 m distance is = 23.8117.5=1.36 Sec

So, Time required for train to pass the man is= 28.57+1.36=29.93 say 30.00 Sec.

Ans: 30 sec

 

 

 

Relative speed = 63 - 3 = 60 km/hr

60 * 5/18 = 50/3 m/sec

Time = Distance / speed

Time = 500 / (50/3 ) = 30 sec
