Average wight of ALam, Babul and Kamal is 84/kg. When Dulal as a new member, joins the group , average weight of the group becomes 80 kg. If another man Einul whose weight is 3 kg more than that Dual, replaces Alam, then the average weight of the group becomes 79 kg What is the weight of Alam.

Total weight of Alam, Babul and Kmal = $84 \times 3 = 252 . . . . . . . . . (i)$

Total weight of alam, Babul. Kmal and Dulal = $80 \times 4 = 320$

Dulal's weight= $320 - 352 = 68$

Einul weight= 68+3=71

Total weight (Babul + Kamal+ Dulal + Einul)= $79 \times 4 = 316$

Babul + Kamal +68+71=316

Babul + Kamal = 316-139=177…………(ii)

(i)-(ii) we have, weight of Alam= 252-177=75kg. ans.

The perimeter of a square field is equal to the perimeter of a rectangular field. Length of the rectangular is 3 times of its width and the area is 768 square meter. How many square sized tiles of 80 centimeter width will be required to cover the square field?

Let,

Width(W) of Rectangular =x

Length(L) of Rectangular=3x

So, Rectangular area=3x×x=3x^2

ATQ,

3x^2=768

x^2=256

x=16

Now,Rectangular Perimeter,

=2(L+W)

=2(3x+x)

=8x

=8×16

=128

Rectangular perimeter =Square perimeter

so, Square perimeter,

4x=128

x=32

Area of square=x^2

=32×32

=1024

Need total tiles=1024÷(.8×.8)

=1600 Pieces.

A, B and C started a business jointly with a total amount of Tk. 28,000. A paid Tk. 4,500 more then B and B paid Tk. 7,000 less than C. If the company made a profit of Tk. 5,600. How much profit should C receive?

Let. B paid Tk. x

A paid Tk. (x+4,500) And C paid Tk. (x+7,000)

According to the question,

$x + (x + 4500) + (x + 7000) = 28000 \Rightarrow 3 x + 11, 500 = 28000 \Rightarrow 3 x = 28000 - 11500 \Rightarrow 3 x = 16500 ∴ x = \frac{16500}{3} = 5500$

B paid Tk. 5,500

A paid Tk. (5,500+4,500) = Tk. 10,000

C paid Tk. (5,500 +7.000) = Tk. 12,500.

Their profit sharing ratio as their investing ratio = 10,000 : 5.500 : 12,500=100 : 55 : 125=20 : 11 : 25

Profit of C = $5, 600 x \frac{25}{20 + 11 + 25} = 5600 \times \frac{25}{56} = 2500$

Solve the equation : $\frac{4}{2 x + 1} + \frac{9}{3 x + 2} = \frac{25}{5 x + 4}$

$\frac{4}{2 x + 1} + \frac{9}{3 x + 2} = \frac{25}{5 x + 4} \Rightarrow \frac{4}{2 x + 1} + = \frac{15}{5 x + 4} + \frac{10}{5 x + 4} \Rightarrow \frac{4}{2 x + 1} - \frac{10}{5 x + 4} = \frac{15}{5 x + 4} - \frac{9}{3 x + 2} \Rightarrow \frac{20 x + 16 - 20 x - 10}{(2 x + 1) (5 x + 4)} = \frac{45 x + 30 - 45 x - 36}{(5 x + 4) (3 x + 2)} \Rightarrow \frac{6}{(2 x + 1) (5 x + 4)} = \frac{- 6}{(5 x + 4) (3 x + 2)} \Rightarrow \frac{1}{2 x + 1} = \frac{- 1}{3 x + 2} \Rightarrow 3 x + 2 = - 2 x - 1 \Rightarrow 3 x + 2 x = - 1 - 2 \Rightarrow 5 x = - 3 ∴ x = - \frac{3}{5} a n s .$
