   Here, two smaller numbers are x, x+1 respectively

   The sum of three consecutive number is     3X+3 = 123
                                                                                so, X= (123-3)/3
                                                                                    = 40
Two smallers numbers are 40 and 41 respectively
So their product is 40*41
 = 1640
