- Architect: Syed Mainul Hossain. National Martyr's Monument is one of the icon of Bangladesh. The Monument set up in the memory of those who died in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. The monument is located in Savar. 

- Hamidur Rahman (1928 – 19 November 1988) was a Bangladeshi artist and sculptor. He is best known as the architect of the Shaheed Minar, a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate the martyrs of the Language Movement of 1952.
